Development

Update — 31 October 2026

Done: the first solo expedition runs end to end in a packaged Windows build — take the contract, sail to the wreck, winch cargo, sell, buy the cargo-hold upgrade, quit and continue later with progress saved. So far this has been verified by an automated playthrough; hands-on playtesting is next.

In progress: local co-op for 2–4 players on one PC or a home network. Two-player test runs complete a shared trip; an independent review is under way.

Next: character and skill progression with simple crafting, then saved harbor progress for a packaged alpha.

Roadmap

  2. In progressB. Local co-op testing2–4 players on one PC or a trusted home network (a target, not a proven capacity).
  3. PlannedC. Saved harbor progress & packaged alphaDurable progress, a small workshop and more contracts.
  4. PlannedD. Invite-only hosted testingOnly after the local milestones pass.
  5. PlannedE. Small persistent online alphaPlayer numbers chosen from measurements.

Longer-term vision: more islands, professions, workshops, settlement building and a larger online world — a direction, not a schedule.

FAQ

What kind of game is this?

A third-person ocean exploration, salvage and trading game. You run a small workboat, take harbor contracts, recover cargo from wrecks and use the proceeds to upgrade.

Can I play it yet?

No. There is no public download or online server yet.

Which platform comes first?

Windows PC. Other platforms are not planned at this stage.

Can I play solo?

Yes — the game is designed to work well solo, and the first prototype is a solo expedition.

What does co-op mean right now?

Local testing only: a few players on one PC or a trusted home network sharing a boat and its cargo. It is not online play.

Is this an MMO?

No. A larger online world is a long-term ambition, but today it is an early local prototype.

When is the release?

No release date has been set.

How much will it cost?

Pricing has not been decided.

Are the images gameplay?

The large harbor image and the world map are concept art. The “From the prototype” captures are real screenshots of the current prototype, which uses simple placeholder art.
